Flipside BBQ is a local YEG Food truck serving Philippines style BBQ food! This weekend, they hosted a special Kamayan Collab event with a well known local Philippine restaurant Filistix offering their specialty meal platter!
The Meal comes with Cheezy Sticks as appetizers, which can be best described as a deep fried Cheese Spingroll covered with Cheese powder and sauce
As for the Main higlight, Ultimate Kamayan Platter includes Pork belly, Shrimp, fried Tilapia, grilled squid, cheese baked mussels, fried rice, corn on the cob, papaya salad and season fruits!
Our favorite items were the Pork belly, Shrimp, Tilapia and Springrolls!
We also really enjoyed the decor of the night as they used Banana leaves through out the entire dinner service! As well our dinner platters were served on Banana leaves as well!
For Dessert we got the Mango overload, which is freshl fried Mango Sticky Rice Springroll served with a YEG well known local brand Yelo'd Mango Ice cream!
The food were delicious and we seriously had an amazing time! Would totally come back and have more food again!
