Darling Brunch and Dinner is one of YEG's newest restaurants located between 96 Street and 82 Ave. They are known for their natural dining experience with fresh local ingredient making daily menu specialties! They also offer many different kinds of individual and sharing plates!
We had the pleasure of ordering today's specials, Burrata Zucchini Salad with Peaches and Anchovies as our starter course! The flavor was very unique and refreshing! Definitely something you would not get in other ordinary restaurants!
We also ordered their current special Braised Pork Belly with Jalapeno, Fava Beans and Blackberries! the tartness of the berries balances the fattiness of the pork belly making this dish rather enjoyable!
And as for our main course, Icelandic Cod with Lovage Bagna Gauda, Broccolini and Mustard Greens! The Cod was so tender soft and flavor was heavenly, again unlike any other ordinary Cod dishes! Would totally come back and order this over and over again!
One thing I do have to comment is the atmosphere of the restaurant! It is modern, gorgeous and beautiful!
They are also known to have a gorgeous patio, however the day we visited was a bit chilly hence indoor dining was the better choice!
