Thai Corner is one of the newest Authentic Thai Restaurant that opened up few months ago here in YEG and they are very well known for their famous Pad Thai and Baked goods!
To Start we ordered the Pad Thai with Chicken and topped with Prawns! This Pad thai is like no others, most places Pad Thai sauce is sweet, but with this place, their Pad Thai sauce is flavourful in many layers! You can taste all the different spices and flavours they used as it stands out so well!
For Second dish we got the Kao Mun Gai which is Thai style Chicken and Rice! The chicken was nice and soft however the best part I find was the rice! The rice was cooked with Chicken Broth which was loaded with flavour! Chicken also includes a ginger spiced plum sauce which definitely gave the Chicken a nice kick!
As for dessert, we got the last remaining piece of Thai Tea Cake topped with Saffron Egg pudding shavings and Fresh Coconut Pandan cake!
After speaking with the owners, we found out they use fresh whipping cream and makes their cakes daily! That alone is a big bonus point!
For price point, it is definitely reasonable, dishes are average of $15-20 and desserts is around $6-8 mark.
